In the early hours of this Thursday, June 20, Mayor Bruno Cipolini led the act of pledging loyalty to the Argentine Flag, by more than 1,800 4th grade students from 40 educational establishments in the city.

During his speech to the massive audience that was present on 12th and 11th streets (center) and was attended by the National Deputy Gerardo Cipolini; the president of the Deliberative Council Nora Gauna; the Regional Educational Director Paloma Egea; the provincial deputy Silvina Canteros; the president of the Judicial Council Edgardo Reguera; Councilors, municipal officials, educational authorities, authorities of the different Security Forces and the general public.

The Mayor recalled that “Manuel Belgrano was a man who gave his life for this land, he had very high responsibilities, he stood out for his simplicity and humility, in addition to being the protagonist of two great milestones in history in defense of the country, such as the English Invasions and the May Revolution. He was a man of detachment from material things and with profoundly outstanding morals.”

On the other hand, Cipolini expressed that, “on dates like today we must reflect that the greatness of the Homeland is around the corner for Argentines, within reach and that it lives in the parents and grandparents of the students.” that are present today.”

In this sense, he expressed that “we must prioritize those things that unite us, over those that separate us, where we have to do each task thinking about a great and glorious Nation like ours. I once again congratulate you on this commitment and urge you to honor the Argentine Flag every day with simple and transcendent actions,” he concluded.

During the event there was accompaniment by the Fortunato Felcher Municipal Music Band.
