Ricardo Hillactor and dubbing comedian famous for playing “El Teacher” in “La Hora Peak”, is going through a complicated health situation that requires financial support to cover medical expenses, according to his sister, Silvia Cristina Domínguez.
It was through a Facebook post where Silvia asked Internet users and followers of the artist for help. In 2020, Ricardo was diagnosed with pulmonary emphysema and COPD, conditions that, according to specialized portals, are a group of lung diseases that complicate breathing and worsen over time.
“Unfortunately, he is in poor health. He had a deep depression and is being treated,” Domínguez commented in a video. Additionally, he mentioned that due to her medical condition, Ricardo has been out of work for two years, while he has lived with her and her other brother, Salvador.
“What he needs is urgent financial support,” Silvia added, pointing out that Ricardo’s economy has also been affected and they do not have enough resources to continue with the help.
“It’s my calling. Just asking them if they can help him would be very beneficial and I would be infinitely grateful for that,” Silvia concluded.
Four years ago, Ricardo Hill explained in a television interview that he developed pulmonary emphysema and COPD due to his smoking habit since he was 16 years old. “I smoked half a pack, but at parties it was more,” he commented at the time.
Ricardo Hill, known for his imitations, especially that of Joaquín López Dóriga, was born on July 27, 1960 in Mexico City and has built an outstanding career as a voice actor on television and film.
His participations on Televisa include programs such as “La Hora Pico”, “Los comedians” and “Al rhythm de larisa”, among others. In addition, his voice has given life to memorable characters in cartoons such as “The Adventures of Sylvester and Tweety” and “Looney Toones.”
