What happened at the time of the explosion?
Around 3 in the morning, when several drivers arrived at this yard to start their work day, the events occurred.
According to the versions, one of the drivers took the bus out of the washing area and manipulated one of the cylinders and, upon hearing a noise, he left the vehicle. Then, the strong explosion occurred.
The driver escaped the explosion, although he was later treated by medical personnel, presenting minor injuries.
On the other hand, the shock wave affected seven Sitp vehicles and surrounding areas.
The Bogotá Firefighters arrived at the site to control the conflagration. For now, authorities are investigating the cause of the explosion.
