Blu Radio discovered a new audio from Olmedo Lopez in which he promises to tell the truth and insists that he is taking a risk of death. The former director of the UNGRD will attend the Prosecutor’s Office this Tuesday afternoon to give his version of the tank truck scandal.

“From the first moment I informed the country, the Colombians and my family as a witness, that I was going to tell the whole truth. The country and the Colombians expect answers from me and I said that I was going to tell them and I will continue giving them,” says López at the beginning of the audio.

Subsequently, he continued his story by insisting on his request for guarantees for himself and his family, and added that in this case many people, whom he will mention in due course, “must give explanations.”

Olmedo López added.

He former director of the UNGRD also stated that “telling the truth is difficult,” even more so when it is the subject of countless comments and threats or accusations. He also took the opportunity to send a message to those who see him as a traitor.

“I want to tell them that 32 years ago we started a fight that sought to transform for me into the history of Colombia. You and I know it and along the way we made mistakes. We cannot repeat bad practices and I regret it, and that is why from The first moment I decided to cooperate, because we must be a true example of change”, stood out.

And to finish this new audio, Olmedo López assured the attorney general and the judges that they will know the whole truth and apologized to the officials and other State workers. “I made a mistake and I must repair it,” she said.
