What for a long time seemed like science fiction has now become reality: neither genetics nor age are no longer destiny. On the other hand, it is now possible to preserve health, prevent diseases, regenerate our body cell by cell and achieve its maximum potential in health and beauty.
In Mexico, MEDAE between science and beauty made possible this reality that began to be written in 1990, when the Human Genome Project began worldwide with the aim of deciphering the complete DNA sequence of human beings. By 2003 it had been completed.
This discovery opened a world of possibilities to understand human biology and the reasons for physical characteristics, health and disease. Then came the development of highly personalized studies, treatments and drugs.
However, these technologies were not available to everyone, and this was the case of Mexico. This reality was ethically contrary to recent medical school graduate María del Mar Guerra, who promised herself that her patients would have access to these technologies, which seemed taken from a science fiction movie.

Faced with this reality, Dr. Marimar took on the task of becoming one of the first spokespersons in genomic medicine in Mexico, and made space in her busy schedule to attend every congress, conference, or world convention that existed linked to the topic. .
With this, he managed not only to be aware of the advances and developments of genomic medicine in various areas of health (functional, aesthetic, medical, regenerative, among others), he also placed Mexico on the global radar of this branch of health. , thus consolidating important agreements to bring to our country the most effective and avant-garde treatments worldwide.
CHANGING THE HEALTH PARADIGM IN MEXICO
The COVID-19 pandemic was a watershed in all areas of health and for Dr. Marimar it meant a driving force, because by then MEDAE between science and beauty It had the technologies that would help Mexico recover its health and lost years of life.
