Professionals will provide their services from Monday to Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.; and on weekends and holidays, from 11:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., thanks to the efforts promoted by Mayor María Inés Sepúlveda Fuentes and the unanimous support of the Honorable Municipal Council

From today until November 3, 2024, the Rural Health Post in the El Colorado sector will be reinforced by a doctor and a nurse, who will serve from Monday to Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.; and on weekends and holidays, from 11:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
The above, thanks to the efforts promoted by Mayor María Inés Sepúlveda Fuentes and the unanimous support of the Honorable Municipal Council, which approved the necessary resources to implement these new benefits in an unprecedented way in a very relevant facility for rural primary health care, that provides services to hundreds of residents not only in the El Colorado sector but also in different surrounding towns, such as Paso Nevado, Bramadero and Las Majadas, among others.
It is important to remember that in El Colorado a Rural Emergency Service (SUR) operates throughout the year, which includes tens, driver and ambulance, from Monday to Friday from 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.; and on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, 24 hours a day.

MAKING HISTORY
The Mayor of San Clemente, María Inés Sepúlveda Fuentes, traveled to the sector to verify on the ground, together with health professionals, the implementation of this historic medical reinforcement.
“We are very happy, since today we begin something historic in El Colorado, the issue of being able to have a doctor, a nurse, in this extended hour that is related to the emergency, because we also have an ambulance and from Monday to Monday, I think it is something wonderful…we are grateful to the Municipal Council for allowing us to approve these resources to place them in health and to be able to tell the population today that we can serve them during these hours and that we hope to be able to extend it to other places in the commune of San Clemente” , he indicated.
For his part, Daniel Gálvez, chief physician at SAPU San Clemente, explained how care works in El Colorado.
