If you are a user of Max, you will know just as we do that the streaming service always prioritizes quality over quantity, and it is rare that we see more than three premiere titles in a week. Based on the Suicide Squad from DC Comics that we all know, this “isekai” anime series takes us to a Japanese fantasy subgenre where several characters end up in a parallel universe. With Gotham City ravaged by crime, ARGUS director Amanda Waller decides to send a famous team of supervillains to an otherworldly kingdom, which is itself connected to the real world through a door, to complete a mission.

The problem? The mission is to keep peace, and this peculiar group of anti-heroes, formed by Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Peacemaker, Clayface and King Shark, only want to carry out their wildest misdeeds and advocate for peace through blows. As soon as they arrive, they will fall into the clutches of the kingdom’s soldiers and will be sent to prison, so they will have to face all kinds of creatures to try to dominate the kingdom.

Angel of Death (Season 3)

In the first season, a young woman is found dead near the town of Opole, a city in southern Poland, and the way in which she was mutilated indicates that she is a serial killer who follows a ritual. The case is in the hands of Commissioner Agnieszka Polkowska, who soon discovers the murderer, but not the motives that led him to commit the crime. After a second season that resolves what happened after the trial, we find a new installment full of crimes, mysteries and another serial killer in the ring, where the police’s own lives will be at stake.
