What happened?
According to Meteorological Directorate of Chilerainfall is expected to be recorded in the country during this Wednesday, May 1sta holiday that commemorates the Labor Day.
Specifically, it would be 11 regions in which the phenomenon would occur.
THE LAST
island zone
On Easter Island, belonging to the Valparaíso region, isolated showers will be recorded during the morning. The same will happen in the Juan Fernández archipelago, from the early hours of Wednesday until the morning.
North Zone
In El Salvador, Atacama region, showers are expected in the afternoon and evening.
Downtown area
In O’Higgins, in areas such as Rancagua, Rengo, San Fernando and Santa Cruz, precipitation will fall in the afternoon.
In Curicó, Molina, Talca and Linares, belonging to the Maule region, it will rain from early morning until afternoon. In Constitución and Cauquenes, only in the early morning.
In the Ñuble region, showers will fall in the first half of the day. And in Biobío, only in the early morning.
South Zone
In Puerto Saavedra, in the La Araucanía region, it will rain at night, while in Villarrica and Pucón, in the early morning and at night.

According to Meteorology, this Wednesday it will rain in different sectors of the Metropolitan Region. In the south and east of Santiago, precipitation will fall in the afternoon. In San José de Maipo, meanwhile, throughout the day, except for the night.
