After the last joint meeting that took place in mid-April, in which the Entre Ríos Government offered state employees an 8 percent increase in two installments, negotiations resumed this Monday.

The meeting will begin at 11 at the provincial Labor Secretariat and will be attended by representatives of the State Workers Association and UPCN.

It is worth mentioning that during the last joint meeting, the government of Rogelio Frigerio offered a salary restructuring that consisted of a payment of 5 percent retroactive to March and 3 percent more in April.

Parity continuity

At that meeting, the parties agreed to meet again this coming Monday with the aim of “seeing the numbers and how things are happening,” he indicated. APF.

“In any case, we have May 25 as a turning point, which is where an agreement is reached between the national government and the provinces, this would clear up doubts regarding the second semester,” said the Secretary of Budget and Finance, Uriel Brupbacher.

The meeting will take place after the joint meeting with the teaching unions that occurred this Friday. The proposal offered by the Executive to the education unions consists of an increase of 4% for April (of which 3% has already been settled on account), 5% for May and 5% for June. It was declared insufficient by AGMER, AMET and SADOP.
