The participation of Mayor Germán Ricardo Camacho ended at the invitation of the University of Pennsylvania, United States, in which he advanced the socialization of the project titled: ‘Paipa, between the urban and the rural’ and additionally brought a portfolio of possible solutions for problems which has the so-called Tourist and Hotel Capital of Boyacá.
“We received from the master’s degree in Urban Planning at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, nine projects developed for Paipa in which they help us with very important inputs for Paipa such as the transition between urban and rural, the passage of the railway line, how divides the city in two, the relationship between the El Valencí and Rosal streams with the Chicamcoha river; the relationship between the Chicamocha River and Lake Sochagota, the possibility of articulating the cooling lakes with the river and the streams; housing projection, which will be articulated in the Development Plan,” said the president.
And he added that he will bring all these inputs to Paipa, so that they can be socialized and implemented not only with his team, but with the communities.
