The Government of San Juan announced that the Directorate of Energy Resources (DRE) began to survey people to find out what they think about the lighting conditions on Circunvalación Avenue. This survey is done to comply with the requirements of international regulations.

The Government explained that the avenue’s lighting has a quality management system certified under the IRAM 9001 standard, which seeks to achieve the full satisfaction of its users. The DRE explained that the information collected will be used to improve service and community safety.

The highway, which has 1,075 lighting columns and more than 1,500 fixtures, serves as the main connector of the Greater San Juan metropolitan area and is a primary route to move between departments.

Among the questions that are part of the survey, we seek to know the frequency with which people use the avenue, how they rate the quality of public lighting on the Beltway and whether they feel safe when traveling through it, among other aspects that will serve to define action plans. .

Specifically, point two asks: How would you rate the quality of public lighting in the Ring Road? The options included are Very dissatisfied, Dissatisfied, Neutral, Satisfied and Very satisfied. Added to this is that, in point four, the option is given for the person to write down the place or places where they consider there should be more lighting.
