Armed men shot the teacher and social leader to death with several shots Hernán Enriquez Mora, head of the Nucleus in the Algerian Agricultural Educational Institutiona town where his life was taken in the middle of an illegal checkpoint.

The versions indicate that Enríquez, who was with his wife, was intercepted by unknown armed men when he returned from an activity in the town of The Sinai.

After being shot several times, several neighbors came to help him and take him to a care center where he died.

The Colombian Federation of Educators, Fecode, rejected and repudiated the fact.

He was highly appreciated by the population of this municipality and of Suárez, where he was from. We demand measures that guarantee the safety of the educational communities in the area. “We express our solidarity with his family, community and loved ones,” he said on the social network X.

Luis Núñez, also a teacher from southern Cauca, recalled that in addition to the appreciation of the community, Enríquez carried out community work. ““He worked hard to solve the problems of our municipality.”

The Government of Cauca also deplored this murder. “Enough of war events in our department.”

Until this Saturday, the motives for this criminal attack are unknown.
