After the implementation of the Río Negro Presente Salud card that took place weeks ago in the town of General Conesa, the provincial government already held meetings with health officials from Sierra Grande and today it was El Bolsón’s turn. Noticiasdelbolson spoke with Minister Juan Pablo Muena and Fernando Henríquez from the Comprehensive Undersecretary of Social Policies who estimate that in less than 20 days El Bolsón could be joining this initiative.
This morning, the Minister of Human Development of the province of Río Negro, Juan Pablo Buenas, was visiting the town of Bolsón and met with the mayor, accountant, Bruno Pauliano, and with the director of the El Bolsón area hospital, Oscar Panomárenko. The minister then explained that it is a program that is carried out through a public policy designed and defined through Governor Alberto Weretilneck so that we can carry it forward throughout the entire province, “this is possible in the figure of Fernando Henríquez who is in charge of nothing more and nothing less than the comprehensive undersecretary of social policies, where it was already started in the town of Conesa with 116 patients, with chronic non-communicable diseases, such as hypertension and diabetes.
Sierra Grande
Appropriately, the minister confirmed that before arriving at the mountain range they held similar meetings in the town of Sierra Grande, “two weeks after launching we were also in the town of Sierra Grande meeting with the mayor Roxana Fernández and with all the people from the hospital from there, to begin coordinating and cross-checking data, obtaining all the information to also be able to implement the second stage in that location.”

Among the advantages of this independence that is proposed to the chronic patient with the delivery of medications through this card, Minister Muena highlighted that a direct line is now generated between the patient and the pharmacist, “it is an advantage for the patient to be able to buy the medications without having to wait and of course through Fernando’s area there will be a direct line of communication with all patients where they will surely tell you when each of the cards is accredited.”

Following his turn, the undersecretary of social policies Fernando Henríquez highlighted that this program dignifies patients, “this card generates a closer relationship with the patient, being close to solving problems that neighbors encounter every day for different reasons, sometimes they come to the hospital and The medication has not yet arrived because then getting it to the city complicates the transfer and in this way with this card the patient can choose which pharmacy to buy it from or the pharmacy that has it.”
In addition, the official explained that in this way some other actions are generated, such as when buying medicines in the province, it was generally done in a drugstore in the city of Buenos Aires, so the money invested by the province comes out of it. and it remains in the Federal Capital now with the implementation of this card and with the possibility that each neighbor independently choose where to buy the economic resource that the province invests remains in each of the localities where the neighbors choose to buy the medicines.
However, Henríquez stated that they are very happy with this enormous commitment that is generated, “let’s not forget that here we are talking about medicines for people who have neighbors in our province who suffer from a chronic disease. So we are very happy, very happy and trying to be as neat as possible and with the commitment that this demands.”

Finally, and in relation to when the cards would be available to the residents of Bolsón Henríquez said, “we are seeing if we can reach the end of the month with the card, we work with the registers that the Ministry of Health gives us, the register comes hand in hand from a series of information and commitment that we signed last week where the college of pharmacists undertakes to give us a series of values, we understand with a discount so that this is also a beneficiary so that it is feasible for the state to be able to carry out the program, once That register is sent, we put together the file in my area and from there we go to the settlement, which is always after the 25th of each month, if we manage to get all the information from El Bolsón or at least in a first stage that they give us about the patients who are being treated in the hospital and health centers, and then those who cannot yet join will be added month by month,” said Henríquez.
