The Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí is preparing a special celebration, with two dates to celebrate the 60 years of life of the traditional Tuna Universitaria, made up of students and alumni of the highest house of studies.
The celebrations will take place next June 16 and 29with an alley along the Historical Center from the capital of Potosí, where emblematic spaces full of history and romanticism will be visited, while visitors delight in the music of the Tuna Universitaria; plus a concert.
As marked by the betrayal of a good callejoneada that is done in San Luis Potosí, the musical tour will begin on the steps of Teatro de la Paz in Plaza del Carmen, they will travel through various streets in the city center such as Plaza de Armas, among others. until you reach the UASLP Central Buildingin Founders Square.

While on June 29, from Bicentennial University Cultural Centerwith free admission, Potosinos who like romantic music are invited to attend the special concert at 6:00 p.m., where there will be surprises and a unique musical evening, where songs such as: ‘Beautiful darling’, ‘It would be two, it would be three’, ‘Cielito Lindo’, ‘I still love you’, ‘Española’, ‘La Barca’, among others.
The Tuna Universitaria sIt was founded on June 16, 19641, at the initiative of students and teachers who wanted to continue a musical tradition of female students of the Bajío regionsince then thousands of students and alumni who have passed through the Tuna Universitaria of the UASLP, have delighted the Potosí and national public in concerts, streets and contests that have elevated San Luis Potosí.
