After the bronze medal won by the Diablas in the Nations Cup Terrassa 2024, the good news continues to set the tone in this sport. The International Hockey Federation (FIH) has once again chosen Chile and the FEHOCH as organizer of an international mega event.

This is the women’s Nations Cup that is scheduled for the end of 2024 with eight high-level teams like the last one where the National Team was third.

The good performance of the Diablas in Europe, their bronze medal at the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games, Their competitive presence in the Pre-Olympic plus the good evaluation of the FIH as the host country after the 2023 Junior Women’s World Cup have given us this tremendous recognition.

But it is not the only thing, since the creation of the Nations ProLeague 2 appears on the calendar, men’s contest that would also come to Santiago and that would have the Devils as one of the classified casts.

The dream of having the Nations Cup and ProLeague 2

“Due to these results and the performance of the Federation also as a tournament organizer, we were awarded the next version of the Nations Cup for December in Santiago,” it states Camila Caram, who recently left the Diablas after 18 years and now represents the hockey players in the Executive FIH Board.

“It would be incredible if all the institutions supported us for this tournament and it would be the best sports festival we could have with very high-level teams. We will also have ProLeague 2, the first version of this tournament that the Devils would be playing, also in Santiago. Therefore, there cannot be any institution that supports us, private and public,” he added.
