The Government of Chubut, led by Ignacio “Nacho” Torres, agreed with the unions ATE, UPCN, ATSA, SISAP and AGREMEDCHthe regularization of the employment situation of more than 1,200 health workers, who are currently performing duties in the various healthcare establishments throughout the province under the monthly hourly on-call modality.

The agreement was signed this Tuesday in Rawson, at the facilities of the Provincial Road Administration (AVP), and also includes the review and update of the basic salary indices of the Collective Labor Agreement (CCT) for Health.

Representing the Provincial Government, the meeting with the unions was led by the Minister of Government, Andrés Meiszner; the Secretary of Health, Sergio Wisky; the Undersecretary of Budget Management, Carlos Tapia; and the legal advisor of the Ministry of Labor, Noelia Villada.

Regularization of all monthly hourly personnel, guards

At the end of the meeting, the general director of Human Resources of the health portfolio, Alejandra Araujo, stated that “Within the framework of the meeting, two very important topics were agreed upon, among which the regularization of all the agents who had already been working in the province’s health system under the modality of on-call hours stands out, who in this way will move to temporary plant”.

“It is a very important administrative act, which will allow us to end the situation of job insecurity among health personnel.”highlighted Araujo, detailing that the regularization process will take place between the months of July and December of this year and will reach “a total of between 1,200 and 1,250 monthly hourly guards,” who will also be recognized for their seniority and training for their corresponding relocation.

Review and update of CCT indices

On the other hand, the representative of the Ministry of Health indicated that “The other important point that was agreed upon is a review and update of the basic salary indices that structure the Collective Health Labor Agreement, which will be carried out in 6 stages, between the months of August of this year and May of this year. coming”, clarifying that this modification is independent of the salary guidelines that are granted in the future.

It is the first modification of these indices since the collective agreement came into effect in 2013.“Araujo remarked, finally highlighting the efforts that were made in this regard with the sector’s unions at the request of the Secretary of Health, Sergio Wisky.
