Cooperation agreements were signed between the Córdoba Joven Agency and the Ministry of Education of the Province, to formalize the joint work that has been carried out.
Firstly, in terms of development and implementation of joint programs that promote the education and comprehensive development of young people; and, secondly, to bring the Manos youth participation program closer to students and student centers of educational institutions in the Province of Córdoba.
Manos is aimed at young people from Córdoba, aged 15 to 35, who participate in reference groups and wish to carry out projects that mean a common good.
The Córdoba Joven Agency provides them with advice and financing for their implementation in their areas of influence.
The understandings were signed by the president of the Córdoba Joven Agency, José Ignacio Scotto, and by the Minister of Education, Horacio Ferreyra.
“Student Centers are fundamental when thinking about the participation of our young people. Providing them with concrete tools for their development, such as the Manos program, is one of the main objectives of signing these agreements.”said Scotto, holder of the Youth portfolio.
Minister Ferreyra, meanwhile, said: “With the Manos program we are giving students greater prominence. “They are tools so they can transform their school, that is, transform education.”.
About the Manos program
The MANOS program is an initiative of the Córdoba Joven Agency that aims to connect young people with their needs and those of their communities, through actions that provide well-being, generate links, deepen knowledge and value their commitment as members of the society.
It encourages the participation of youth throughout the province, through a process that presents different stages: the detection of demands in their advocacy media, the construction of a project that responds to these demands and the management of the resources necessary to take it forward.
As an ally, they have the Córdoba Joven Agency, which advises, coordinates and provides support so that those dreams come true.
