In Viedma the road traffic education program began in the neighborhoods

The Municipality of Viedma, through the Local Road Safety Agency, started the “Road Education in your Neighborhood” program

The first meeting took place at the neighborhood headquarters of the Lavalle neighborhood, with a notable participation of residents of that important sector of the capital city.

This program is a proposal intended for those who wish to take road safety courses that enable the person to obtain their driver’s license for the first time or renew their license.

During the first day of work, Mayor Marcos Castro participated in the opening of the program and indicated that “it is about providing a tool to facilitate obtaining a driver’s license, but also to “improve knowledge in future drivers.”

In this regard, the head of the Local Road Safety Agency, Jorge Vilca, indicated that “There are two days where training is provided to comply with the process of obtaining a driver’s license.”

The talks are given by municipal staff who work in the agency and who are usually in charge of serving the public in everything related to the driver’s license.

From the municipality it was indicated that after the course A certification valid for twelve months is given to those attending the two days. so that, during that period, they can take the theoretical and practical exams to obtain a driving license.

During the next few weeks the program will be transferred to the different neighborhood councils of the city “to bring this proposal closer to all the neighbors,” it was indicated.
