In the northern area of the city of Salta, a new urban avenue is being built that will connect the Northwest Beltway with the El Huaico neighborhood, providing greater road safety and agility to traffic in a highly populated area. The work presents an approximate progress of 35%.
From the Salta Highway Directorate they reported that the avenue will extend from the roundabout of the Northwest Circunvalación, at the height of the Salteña Football League, to the junction with Memoria, Verdad y Justicia avenue in the El Huaico neighborhood, reaching a length of 1.2 kilometers. The work includes the construction of a 7-meter-wide double asphalt road, culverts, concrete sidewalks and lighting.
This initiative is part of a set of additional works, like the extension of Libertador Avenue that will connect the Grand Bourg neighborhood with the Western Ring Road, which are included in the road project of the new Northwest Ring Road, the underpass at the roundabout of access to the Grand Bourg neighborhood and the repaving of provincial route 28.
