The Chamber of Commerce of Montería, in collaboration with the Government of Córdoba and the Tourism Cluster of the region, successfully held the panel titled “Challenges and Opportunities of Tourism in Córdoba.” This event was held in the academic tent “Alliances that build” of the Pontificia Bolivariana University, as part of the activities of the National Livestock Fair.

The executive president of the Montería Chamber of Commerce, Álvaro Segrith Sepúlveda Salgado, thanked the invited mayors and businessmen in the tourism sector for their presence. During his speech, Segrith highlighted the challenges and opportunities facing tourism in the Córdoba region, highlighting the importance of working together to enhance this key sector for economic and social development.

Segrith assured that the natural wealth of the department is a great attraction for investors, which favors the economic growth of the sector.

The panel included the participation of tourism experts, who discussed strategies to overcome current challenges and maximize opportunities for the sector. Among the topics discussed, the need to improve tourism infrastructure, promote environmental sustainability and strengthen the promotion of Córdoba as a tourist destination both nationally and internationally stood out.

This event was an example of the commitment of local and regional institutions to promote tourism in Córdoba.
