This season they opted for a young coach who was having his first experience in the first team, but who knows the club for having had his time as a player and who began his work as a coach in training and also as a women’s coach like Martín Pascal. The native of Concepción del Uruguay gave an identity to the team that grew as the games went by and today is close to reaching the end of the season.
In conversation with radio MÁXIMA, the coach stated “We have had a great tournament, the first five rounds we were somewhat hesitant but when we started the second phase we found our rhythm and our playing ideology, the team is showing a lot of character with guys who are very young, “They are handling the situations very well,” said Pascal.
“I had put together a team of nine professionals with some youth players, and as the tournament progressed due to different injuries or circumstances we have tried to stick our necks out and be competitive all the time, if someone is missing we will unite together so that it is not noticed,” The red and black coach reflected on the absences due to the injuries of his players.
“We are going to play our game again there, we have learned that we have to get strong in the final minutes, we know that to win as a visitor you need an extra and we have it,” analyzed Central coach Martin Pascal.
Pascal said that he is “surprised by how the boys have responded and by how the season has been going,” and he also said that “the effort they make and that we all make is very great.”
It is not going to be an easy task, El Talar proved to be a complicated team and, in the Islas Malvinas sports center, where it serves as the home team, it becomes strong.
