Within the framework of the “Mayor’s Day to the Neighborhood”, held last Saturday, June 22, in the Las Malvinas neighborhood, the mayor of Santa Marta, Carlos Pinedo Cuello, announced that the ‘Talento Santa Marta’ program is already advanced and is about to be signed to go into operation.

The ‘Talento Santa Marta’ program has been working hand in hand with the University of Magdalena, and aims to provide free, high-quality higher education to the city’s young people.

According to what the president said, the best students from all the public institutions in the District will benefit from a subsistence and transportation fee, and, in addition, direct admission to Unimagdalena.

“Our people are running out of opportunities. “Every person has dreams, and when one dreams and sets goals, he achieves them, with work, effort and sacrifice,” said the mayor.

This is one of the bets of the Carlos Pinedo Cuello administration, which seeks to invest in the education and training of young people, guaranteeing that they can access quality higher education.
