During the Technical Subcommittee on Assistance and Care for Victims of the Armed Conflict, strategies were analyzed to benefit this population.

Tunja, June 26, 2024. (UACP). In order to move forward with the entities that are part of the Technical Subcommittee for Assistance and Attention to Victims of the Armed Conflict in Boyacá, the second meeting of this year was held.

Janet García, Victims’ representative at the Ministry of Health, expressed that the objective of the session was to strengthen the recovery and mitigation of the psychosocial damages and emotional suffering generated in the victims, their families and communities, since, in this way, It contributes to overcoming their vulnerability and reestablishing their rights.

Another purpose was to advance with the adjustment and socialization of the Territorial Action Plan (PAT) 2024-2027, with a view to its approval in the Transitional Justice Committee.

“During the meeting, the representatives of the Departmental Table of Victims and the entities that make up the National System of Comprehensive Care and Reparation for Victims (SNARIV) proposed actions and articulation strategies as a measure of comprehensive care and support for the victims of the conflict. armed in the apartment,” he said. Garcia.

He also explained that within the framework of the second meeting of the Technical Subcommittee for Assistance and Attention to Victims and, based on the interventions of the representatives of the Secretariats of Government, Education, Health, Agriculture and Business Development of the Government of Boyacá , as well as the Directorate of Housing, Building and Public Works of the Ministry of Public Infrastructure, it will be guaranteed that the plans, programs and projects reach the victims and are aimed at prevention, assistance and care with measures that respond to the needs particular of those characterized as being in a greater degree of vulnerability.
