CINCINNATI –Connor Wong and Rob Refsnyder each had two-run homers and the Boston Red Sox took the series against the Cincinnati Reds with a 7-4 victory Sunday.

Boston improved to 24-16 on the road, the fourth-best mark in the Major Leagues. The Reds have won seven of eight and are six games over .500 for the first time all year.

Jarren Duran started the count for Boston and finished 5-3, with a double and two RBIs.

It was a day for the Red Sox bullpen, which used eight pitchers. Zack Kelly, who had six pitches for the win Saturday, started and pitched 2 2/3 scoreless innings with three strikeouts. Greg Weissert (3-1) took the win.

Wong extended his hitting streak to 13 games with his two-run homer in the fourth off Reds starter Nick Lodolo as the Red Sox went up 2-0. Lodolo (8-3) took the loss.

For the Red Sox, Dominican Rafael Devers was 1 for 4 with one run scored.

For the Reds, Dominican Elly de la Cruz went 2 for 5 with one run scored, Santiago Espinal went 1 for 4 with an RBI.
