The last stage of work completed this month ended in the Córdoba town of Arroyo Cabral. To achieve this, the UTE had an automatic welding system that made it possible to reduce execution times and complete the work in record time, in line with the planned contractual deadlines. In total, 4,059 welds were made in 41 days, which is equivalent to an average progress of 3 kilometers per day.

This final works process involves a total expenditure of US$720 million (so the CAF loan covers 66%) and involves the development of 22 kilometers of gas pipeline, plus 62 kilometers of loops to the Northern Gas Pipeline at the height of Ferreyra and the city of Córdoba and the change of direction of 4 compressor plants. The last payment from the national government to the UTE was made in May for a total of $14 billioncovered with credits from commercial banks.
