Through resolution 01133 of 2024, the regulation of extraordinary payments of the VAT refunda subsidy program that seeks to alleviate the financial burden of the lowest-income households in the country.

With the issuance of this document, the Department of Social Prosperity (DPS) defined who will be the beneficiaries of these disbursements, and how, when and where they will be able to access this transfer.
In that order of ideas, and in accordance with what was established by the entity, the households that did not receive financial aid from Cycles 4, 5 and 6 of 2023 will receive this financial support. That is, nearly 500,000 families.
Now, just as it was done throughout 2023, The money will reach the beneficiaries by wire transfer. Once the disbursement has been made, households will be notified via text message to go to a SuperGIROS location with their ID card.

Please note that in the event that those selected do not collect the rescheduled transfer within the times established by Social Prosperity, they will lose the right to access the resources.
Remember that the extraordinary payment of the VAT Refund will be made between June 28 and July 19.
How to know if I am a beneficiary
To facilitate the process, the DPS provided a consultation link. Once on the platform, you just have to follow these steps:
1. Click on the ‘Check here if your household is a beneficiary’ button.
2. Select the type of identity document and enter the document number.
3. Select your date of birth and click on the ‘I’m not a robot’ option.
4. Read the information on the screen to find out whether or not you are a beneficiary of the extraordinary payments.
Remember that one payment cycle is equivalent to $90,000, so there are families that can receive double or triple this value, depending on the number of uncashed drafts.
