One of the great advantages of electric bicycles is that, thanks to the firmware update of the electric assistance system, you can enjoy new functions and, therefore, get a new bike when this happens. This is precisely what users of a bike with the Fazua Ride 50 engine will be able to discover, since the latest system update brings with it very important improvements.

The Fazua Ride 50 motor receives a fairly important software update that adds numerous improvements, especially highlighting the arrival of Boost mode, to date only available on the Fazua Ride 60 motor and on bikes with Fazua Ride 50 Trail/Street 2.22 firmware .

This new Boost mode allows you to activate the maximum power of the motor, 350W, for a period of 4 seconds from a standstill and 12 seconds with the bike in motion. This functionality is especially useful for accelerating the bike from a standstill or facing important slopes, among other situations.

Additionally, when riding while Boost is activated, the rider can extend the duration of Boost (12 seconds) by activating it again. For example, if you activate Boost after 8 seconds, the user will have a total Boost duration of 20 seconds. This reactivation can be repeated without restriction.

Other improvements coming with the latest firmware are better driving behavior thanks to a reduction of the torque sensor offset by more than 75% resulting in significantly smoother, more responsive and more consistent engine support behavior , especially when pedaling lightly.

It also improves motor energy management, with reduced power consumption while the bike is on standby thanks to optimized battery standby time. The standby time was typically 8 to 10 hours, resulting in higher power consumption due to the sensors remaining active.

Finally, the firmware adds an improvement in the reading of the cyclist’s power data both in the Fazua app and on Garmin devices and a notable improvement in the LED lighting of the Remote Controls thanks to an increase in the sensitivity of the sensors . All the details and download of the firmware update, on the Fazua website.
