An unusual event occurred in November 2022 at the El Dorado airport in Bogotá. Given this unfortunate event, Migración Colombia issued a message through its official account. x in which he “rejects the official’s behavior that is not permitted under any circumstances” and added that at that moment “the investigation begins in accordance with the Disciplinary Law.”

Following the investigation by the Public Ministry, the body determined that the official violated his duty to treat people with respect, unjustifiably violating the duties assigned as a public servant. This behavior affected the values ​​and principles of the public service and hindered the achievement of the State’s goals.

The foul committed by Sánchez Cárdenas was classified as very serious and as fraudulent. The appeal proceeds against this decision before the Ordinary Disciplinary Judgment Chamber.

Furthermore, the Delegate Prosecutor’s Office for Judgment 3 clarified that The time that Sánchez Cárdenas served under provisional suspension, decreed as a precautionary measure, will be taken into account for compliance with the term of the general disqualification sanction imposed.
