Since Tuesday, June 4, in the afternoon and after a torrential downpour, the road that connects the province of Sugamuxi with Lengupá suffered damage in more than five sections.

The inhabitants of the villages of Sisvaca, Maravilla and San Juan de Mombita, in the municipality of Aquitania, call on the local authorities to carry out work with the aim of reopening the road in the shortest time possible, since the effects due to the shortage They are already beginning to be felt.

“Right now we have dammed all the production in the region. We have not been able to get our products such as cheese, coffee, beans, fruits, nor the livestock that is detained due to the state of the road. The other concern is the situation of food and medicine shortages, we call on all authorities for our farmers,” said Fernando Quezada, community leader of the sector.

The community requests support from the Boyacá Government machinery to have a caterpillar-type backhoe and quickly advance the work necessary to restore the road.
