Applications will be open until July 3.

With the aim of promoting healthy habits and lifestyles in the population, the Ministry of Social Development and Family, through Choose Living Healthy, launched the Competitive Fund for the Promotion of Healthy Environments 2024.
Until July 3, Foundations, Corporations, Municipal and Educational Corporations and in this version they join the Associations and Indigenous Communities will be able to present their initiatives that contribute to generating healthy environments, as mentioned by the Seremi of Social Development and Family Karina Acevedo Auad “we reinforce the call to apply in our region, last year we had a very good reception of the contest, but only the Municipal Sports Corporation of Coyhaique managed to win the Fund. So, we hope that for this version of the Choose Living Healthy Fund we will have better results and, that is why the trainings have already been done where the municipal corporations, the Local Education Service participated very actively, and very good news is “In this 2024 version, indigenous associations and communities will also be able to apply through Conadi, which is why they also participated in the training talks.”
One of the emphasis that has been made by the Executive Secretariat of Choose to Live Healthy is to encourage and motivate communities to take an active and innovative role in their health with projects relevant to the reality of the territories.
The total budget of this call for the Competitive Fund for the Promotion of Healthy Environments is $450 million at the national level, and the projects must be presented through the Office of Parties of the Seremi of Social Development and Family located at Calle General Parra #326 until July 3 and will be eligible for financing ranging between $14 and $15 million, for regional initiatives that will begin their execution in the second half of the current year.

Healthy eating and food and nutritional education:
