“They are routine exams”: Velásquez rules out going through a complex health moment

In a telephone conversation with the newspaper El Día, the councilor of Coquimbo, Felipe Velásquez Navea, ruled out that he was going through a complicated state of health, ruling out any serious condition. This, as a result of certain information that circulated during the last hours on social networks and some media outlets, where it was stated that the authority was in a delicate state of health.

ONLY RUMORS

In that sense, the councilor specified that routine checks have been carried out, while he regretted that these types of rumors were spreading. After being asked if he thought there could be a political desire to harm him, the Buenos Aires mayor did not rule out such a possibility. “Unfortunately one is public, but at least the media (media) have to understand that these things are personal, private, the less they should be asking, because in the end it is you yourselves who give emphasis to the news,” said Velásquez. .

After explaining that he himself had uploaded a video to social networks, where he indicated that he was in good condition – therefore, what was sought was to clarify and inform – the councilor reiterated that he was not feeling bad. “They are just routine exams, exams that you do every six months, every year and I’m at it, seeing my results. But everything so far is fine,” he clarified. Going deeper into the subject, he mentioned a possible hernia, “but I don’t know that,” he stated, pointing out that “that’s why we have to have tests, since I still play ball, I’m active. So, you always have to have those checkups,” he said.

When asked if he was also being checked for what happened to his father, Velásquez nodded, specifying that “it is also an invitation to everyone to have tests, although sometimes they are very specific and unfortunately here there is a lack of specialists and you have to go to Santiago. But it is a wake-up call for everyone, for me too, because many times we let ourselves be and we let time pass, and we have to worry about our health first and then about the rest.”

TRANQUILLITY

Likewise, he sent a message to the community and his followers calling on them to be calm, “because rumors are sometimes meant to discredit people when in reality I am taking exams properly and whatever one might have, we will take it away.” to inform the community,” the communal authority concluded.
