The Ministry of Public Health communicates that, given the proximity to the holidays of Thursday, June 20 and Friday, June 21, all agencies dependent on the Ministry of Public Health have planned their services in order to ensure coverage for the population in all operational areas of the province.

Hospitals in the capital and in the interior will operate with their usual Emergency service, with guards. Outpatient care will resume on Monday the 24th.

Although hospitals will maintain on-call services, the population is recommended to attend First Level Care centers in situations that require low and medium complexity.

Maternal and Child Vaccination

The vaccination center of that institution will be operational on Thursday the 20th and Friday the 21st, from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., applying vaccines from the National Calendar, against dengue and against COVID-19

On Saturday the 22nd, it will operate from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and the same biologicals will be administered. In addition, doses against yellow fever will be given until 5 p.m.

On Sunday the 23rd, the immunization unit at that hospital will be open from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Donate blood

The Regional Hemotherapy Center informs that on Thursday the 20th, blood donations from all groups and factors will be received at its headquarters at Bolívar 687, during the special hours of 7 a.m. to 12 p.m.

On Friday the 21st the Agency will remain closed to the public, resuming the reception of donations on Saturday the 22nd, during the usual hours of 7 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Prehospital emergency

The Medical Care System for Emergencies and Catastrophes (SAMEC) will maintain the usual pre-hospital care service, affecting its mobile phones and on-call personnel. This service is required through the 911 Emergency telephone line.
