The suspect identified himself as a public official by displaying a police badge and began to ask the victim a series of questions, although after a few minutes his attention was drawn to the behavior that the man was exhibiting, and he then suspected that it could be a fake. police, so he immediately left the scene and informed the National Police of what happened.

The agents in charge of the investigation, after carrying out various investigations, identified and detained the alleged false police officer, who at the time of his arrest was carrying a simulated weapon and a false police badge. After his arrest, he was placed at the disposal of the competent judicial authority as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of usurpation of public functions, decreeing his release with charges.
