The Official State Gazette (BOE), regarding granting by the Ministry of Ecological Transition, has published this announcement of the extension of the authorization for this hotel establishment.
The General Directorate of the Coast and the Sea has granted the extension of the concession to its holder with an area of 253.70 square meters and for a period of five years, extendable every five years up to a maximum of 15.
The fee that the successful bidder of the authorization must pay amounts to 20,681.16 euros per year, as stated in the Coastal Unit announcement signed by the general secretary of the Government Delegation, Ismael Kasrou.
The Functional Development Area also put out to tender in 2023 the space known as Sardine Gap for the provision of seasonal services.
The number of applications grows every year
Two years ago, the Coastal Service of the Delegation received a large number of requests for authorization for the occupation of the public maritime-terrestrial domain for the exploitation of seasonal services along the entire coastline of the city and their number is growing. each year, so to “guarantee the principles of objectivity, publicity, impartiality, transparency and competitive competition” it has been decided to call a competition for the most requested areas, as in this case.
The concession is granted in compliance with the provisions of art. 152.12 of the General Coastal Regulation approved by Royal Decree 876/2014, of October 10, in whose articles it regulates administrative licenses for occupation of the public-terrestrial domain.
