Likewise, the French university students accused the authorities of their country of collusion with “Israel” in their war against the Gaza Strip, and asked them not give more political cover to crimes against the people.

In both the United States and Europe, the response of school administrations took precedence repression of these protests and peaceful encampments, with the help of local or national police and numerous arrests of students and teachers.

According to a report by the Reuters agency about the events at Columbia University, at the request of the rector, the New York police stormed the campus with violence, and arrested at least 30 students, six graduates and two employees for expressing his open support for Palestine.

The agency interviewed students, teachers, and passersby who witnessed the event, and also confirmed the use of police drones to monitor the situation from the sky above the camp organized by the protesters.
