Cebu Pacific, one step away from acquiring 150 Airbus A320 neo family aircraft

Cebu Pacific is finalizing details with Airbus to close an agreement for the purchase of up to 150 A320 neo family aircraft. The announcement of this order is expected to take place during the Farnborough International Air Show, according to the Bloomberg agency.

In May, rumors surfaced, which were later confirmed by the airline, that Cebu Pacific was in negotiations with Boeing and Airbus for a possible order for narrow-body aircraft.

The rumor contemplated a order worth 12 billion dollars for the acquisition of between 100 and 150 aircraft. According to the Bloomberg site, through statements from someone close to the airline, Zebu Pacific I would have chosen Airbus and would be in the final phase of negotiations for this mega order.

In the statement, which confirmed the negotiations with Airbus and Boeing, Zebu Pacific stated that an announcement regarding this order would be made in the second quarter.
