A man was sentenced to two years in prison for the sexual abuse of a young woman.

The Guarantee Judge, Dr. Josefina González Cabañas, approved an agreement between Prosecutor Pablo Sosa and the defense attorney, Dr. Hemindo Gonzalez with the presence of the accused who attended remotely from the Municipality of Agua Dulce, State of Vera Cruz, Mexico, where he currently lives. .

The hearing was held at the Ofiju Capital facilities and was the first full remote abbreviated trial.

The agreement reached by the prosecution and the defense, approved by the judge, consisted of two years of suspended prison and the imposition of rules of conduct that the man must comply with in Mexico for the crimes of Simple Sexual Abuse, foreseen and sanctioned by Article 119, 1st paragraph of the Argentine Penal Code.

The convicted person must establish residence, which cannot be changed without prior notice to the Judicial Office.

In addition, you must avoid the consumption of alcoholic beverages and narcotics in excess and you will have to appear before the Judicial Police of the Municipality of Agua Dulce, State of Veracruz, Mexico, located at Francisco Madero 4, Colonia el Abulón, in order to ratify your residence. and must send reliable evidence via email bimonthly from the 1st to the 10th of each month to the Conduct Rules Control Office, in order to control their compliance with the imposed rules.

You will also have to undergo psychological treatment in a public or private institution, presenting the pertinent certificates via email, through your private defender or directly to the Conduct Rules Control office.

If you fail to comply with any of these rules, the fiscal unit will request the revocation of the aforementioned rules and require effective compliance with the sentence.

From the Ofiju Capital they reported that the hearing was held with complete normality and in this way the speed was evident despite the physical space in which the parties are located in the holding of the hearings with the implementation of the new criminal procedural code.

The resolution will be brought to the attention of the Judicial Police of the Municipality of Agua Dulce, State of Veracruz, Mexico, through the Directorate of Central America, the Caribbean and Mexico of the Undersecretary of American Affairs, dependent on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Cult of the Argentine Republic.
