Córdoba offers multiple free proposals for these long weekends in June

From June 15 to 17 and from June 20 to 23, the two long weekends, the provincial capital will offer a wide range of free activitiesamong which there are three unmissable guided tours, concerts in the main halls and theaters of the city, with the visit of Hernán Cattáneo as the protagonist, and an endless number of cultural and recreational proposals in municipal or provincial spaces.

All It can be complemented with outdoor walks through the recovered parksvisits to the Botanical Garden, or the various gastronomic alternatives.

La Docta bookstores

On Thursday the 13th, at 11, the “free guided tour of La Docta bookstores” will take place. In order to commemorate Writer’s Day (13) and Book Day (15), the tour will take place through some of the oldest and most emblematic bookstores in Córdoba. By touring them, visitors will have the opportunity to discover literary and cultural gems and immerse themselves in our intellectual tradition.

The meeting point will be from the Cabildo Tourist Information Office (Independencia 30), continuing through the Infanto Juvenil, El Emporio, El Espejo, Rubén Libros and El Mundo de las Lecturas bookstores through the pedestrian Deán Funes, Galería Cabildo, pedestrian July 9, Santa Catalina Gallery and Vélez Sársfield avenue.

Nueva Córdoba, walk through the student neighborhood

Another must-see will be the “Walk through Nueva Córdoba” tour, which can be enjoyed on Saturday, June 15 and 22 at 4 p.m., departing from the Güemes Tourist Information Office (Diagonal Garzón 400). The tour includes Plazoleta Vélez Sársfield, Av. H. Yrigoyen, Patio Olmos, Archbishopric of the Province of Córdoba, Paseo del Buen Pastor and Church of the Capuchin.

Tour the San Jerónimo

For its part, the now classic guided tours of the San Jerónimo Cemetery will be on Saturday the 15th at 9, 11, 14 and 15. The cemetery will open its doors to tour and learn about the stories among its tombs. Graciela Pedraza and Federico Sylvester, two guides who know those stories, invite you to walk the corridors and learn more about the people who rest there.

The meetings will be in the main entrance hall of the San Jerónimo Cemetery, (Pedro Chutro 551), 15 minutes before the start of each tour, which lasts 2 hours. Entrance is free and open.
