Landslide reported on the Quibdó – Medellín road

A landslide has been reported on the Quibdó – Medellín road, between the sector Seven and La Mansagenerating traffic congestion and altering mobility in the area.

The incident occurred around the night of this Friday, June 14, 2024, as a result of the intense rains that hit the region. According to citizen reports, the landslide affected the upper slope of the road, causing the road to be obstructed.

Personnel from the National Highway Institute (Invías) and the Highway Police are on site working to address the emergency. Material removal and damage assessment are being carried out to determine the severity of the situation.
