The case for the crime of businessman Fernando “Lechuga” Pérez Algaba had the news this Tuesday of two defendants arrested, after the Justice decided that they await trial in prison. In addition, a third person involved in the homicide would turn himself in in the next few hours.

According to police sources, The detainees are Fernando Gastón Martín Carrizo (34 years old), Luis Alberto Contreras (38), who participated in the murder of Pérez Algaba, the trader who was found dismembered in a suitcase in a stream in Lomas de Zamora.

For his part, Matías Ezequiel Gil, another of the accused, would surrender in the next few hours, according to the authorities.

As for those arrested this Tuesday, Carrizo was arrested in Hurlingham and Contreras in Ingeniero Budge, in the town where the businessman was found dismembered.

These two men are accused of the crimes of “triple aggravated homicide for being committed out of treachery, greed and for being premeditated with several people with the use of a firearm.”
