Gran Misión Venezuela Joven strengthens the health of adolescents in Amazonas – MPPS

MPPS Press- The National Public Health System (SPNS), through the work of the State Health Directorate (DES), continues to provide services and responses to the adolescent population with a health day implemented by the Great Young Venezuela Mission (GMVJ), today 20 June 2024, which was successfully developed at the Liceo Bolivariano Marahuaca in the city of Puerto Ayacucho, Amazonas state.

In this activity there was: general medicine, internal medicine, vaccination, psychology, family planning, ultrasound, ophthalmology, pharmacy, sexual health, nutrition, sports and recreational activities, to encourage the young population that health is an issue that concerns the entire population. In addition, the DES, which is managed by the sole health authority, Dr. Joskany La Rosa, has the medical services to cover the population that deserves it.

For her part, the Deputy Academic Director of the Marahuaca High School, Zurima Rodríguez, reported “today we benefited from this wonderful work where they provide health services… The young people were given talks on sexual transmission and planning. “Thank the doctors for their outstanding work, since they have had the ability to provide care to young people and we are very grateful.”

The National Government led by the President, Nicolás Maduro, the Minister of Popular Power for Health (MPPS), Magaly Gutiérrez and the support of the governor of Amazonas, Miguel Rodríguez, continue to work for the health benefits of the Amazonians, always accompanied by a team of health professionals.
