Mass for the 214th anniversary of the Prefecture

The religious celebration was presided over by the Military Bishop, Monsignor Santiago Olivera, and was attended by the National Naval Prefect, Prefect General Guillermo Giménez Pérez.

During the homily, Monsignor Olivera thanked God for “the dedication and constant presence of each of the members of the Prefecture, which requires availability, presence, a spirit of sacrifice and a sense of duty.”

Continuing with his words, the Bishop highlighted: “we know and thus we know the prefecturians as men of law, aware of the police vocation that makes them representatives and guardians of the norms.”

For his part, the Chief Chaplain of the Force, Julio Tibaldo, thanked the members of the Prefecture for always being present, especially in these times that present great challenges and challenge each one as children of God.
