Update: Epic Games has already officially revealed what the new Fortnite Reload game mode will be like with a new smaller map inspired by the original (OG), start date and time, rules, rewards, etc.

Original note: Last year, before the chapter change, we were able to enjoy the return of the original map at the event Fortnite OG. When it ended, Epic Games promised us that the map would be back eventually. That promise will be fulfilled … half.
The game’s official Twitter account announced a new event called ‘Fortnite Reload’ (‘Reload’) and in the video we can see the appearance of several points of interest from the original map, but it is not the complete OG map.
This new event or game mode will be available from Saturday June 22, 2024. It will allow us to play on a new map “inspired” by the original map, but smaller and with new rules. It seems that one of them will be the ability to revive a limited number of times after being eliminated.
The return of the original map in 2023 was a massive success, bringing record player numbers to the game. It was clear that Epic Games was going to bring it back, but we don’t know if this miniature version will be well received by the nostalgic community. Maybe it’s something separate and the real Fortnite OG will be available again later.
We will update this note with more information about Fortnite Reload (‘Reload’) and the new map inspired by the OG as it is revealed.
