Fabricio VasconcelosBrazilian dancer and well known for the Axé phenomenon and being the former face of Mekano, started a venture 15 years ago that began with a dance school called Club Fama Chicureo.
Over time, he created a popular gym in that place that already has more than two thousand members and later built 10 offices that he rents. But that’s not all, two months ago he launched his biggest project: his own shopping center.
With the support of his wife, the dancer and businesswoman Mariela RomanFabrizio built the Fame Shopping Centera two-story building of 1,500 square meters, consisting of 18 commercial premises and located on the General San Martín Highway, kilometer 24 and a half, whereabouts 57, Colina.
“It’s like a mini mall. It was difficult, but thank God it was all worth it. There is not a piece of this work that has not passed through my hands. I bought the materials, I quoted to get the cheapest places and thus save. “I am a frustrated architect, I love to draw and I made the design myself on a sheet of paper.”Fabricio says excitedly.
Vasconcelos points out that “Luckily, a lot of people come to the gym, so they themselves asked if I knew of any commercial premises to rent, even if I had somewhere for them to put their businesses. And I answered them no. Later, thinking about it better, and considering that I already had land available here, the idea occurred to me: what if I built commercial premises right here?
“Mariela told me, are you crazy? Where are we going to get the money to build? And I told her, let’s go little by little, God will provide, hahaha… she always supports me in everything.”recalls the Brazilian about the plan that began in 2022, which began to be finalized in 2023 and which ended this year.
