The Sectional Occupational Safety and Health Committee of the Department of Casanare is preparing for a crucial event within the framework of the Strategic Road Safety Plan (PESV).

The Strategic Road Safety Plan (PESV) event will take place this Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at the Casanare Chamber of Commerce in Yopal. This event seeks to address strategies and measures to improve road safety in the region, with the participation of various actors of the General Occupational Risk System, highlighting the importance of collaboration and the implementation of effective policies to guarantee a safe and secure work environment. healthy.

The Sectional Safety and Health at Work Committee, previously known as the Occupational Health Committee, was regulated and structured by Decree 16 of 1997. This decree established the creation of committees at the national, sectional and local level with the purpose of facilitating the democratic participation of all actors of the General Occupational Risk System in decisions that affect them in economic, administrative and cultural aspects.

This year, the presidency of the committee is headed by Tatiana Chávez Duque, Secretary of Departmental Health. Chávez will lead the event, highlighting the commitment of the Sectional Committee on Safety and Health at Work of the Department of Casanare with the promotion of safe and healthy practices in the work environment, thus contributing to the well-being of all workers and employers in the region.
