The Cardiological Institute of the city of Corrientes released this Tuesday a new medical report on the health of the renowned Chamamecero, Mario Bofill.
In this sense, the health center stated that “the patient continues on his third day of hospitalization, clinically compensated, lucid and cooperative, moving around his room on his own.”
However, they stated that “given that mild motor neurological disorders were found in the muscles of the face, speech and swallowing, it was decided to repeat the brain magnetic resonance study, finding a small area of acute cerebral ischemia compatible with said clinical findings.”
In this situation, “the team of professionals assisting him decided to continue with the same pharmacological treatment scheme and it was not necessary to perform endovascular intervention.”
Likewise, they highlighted that “he continues with intensive rehabilitation treatment.”
“During yesterday, complementary studies were also carried out on the other vascular territories, which have a pathological history and remain unchanged,” the statement concluded.
