Young man from SLP will participate in Mathematics Olympiads in England

TOndrés Zamora, Cobach student, makes history by becoming the third representative of the state in the IMO in its entire history

José Andrés Zamora Moncada, student at the San Luis Potosí High School (Cobach) Campus 28, morning shift, will represent San Luis Potosí and Mexico, at the 65th International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO) 2024, in England.

The student will travel to Beijing, China, from June 12 to July 4, 2024, where he will prepare intensively before facing the challenges of the IMO that will take place from July 11 to 22, 2024 in Bath, England.

After two years of entering the world of Mathematics Olympiads, Andrés has racked up impressive successes, placing first in regional, state and national math competitions.

standing out for his numerical ability, and is now among the select representatives of Mexico who will compete in the IMO 2024.

The general director of the Colegio de Bachilleres, Ricardo Daniel Centeno Trejo, pointed out that Andrés Zamora with his participation is not only a source of pride for his institution and his state, but he also makes history by becoming the third student to represent San Luis Potosí in the IMO in its entire history.
