Government will hold a panel on the impact of road blockades in La Guajira

This Tuesday, June 18, the government will develop the panel: The blockades in La Guajira, impacts and rights. A space where various panelists and experts will discuss the consequences that this problem represents on the socioeconomic development of the department.

The event will take place at the Héctor Salah Zuleta Library, in the Riohacha District, between 8:00 am and 12 noon. It will include the presentation of the Chamber of Commerce of La Guajira, with a synthesis of data and figures of the effects of the blockades; the development of the panel and resolution of questions surrounding the topic.

What institutional alternatives can be promoted? What route of action do we use to reduce this phenomenon? They will be some of those who will address.

The panel, whose entrance is open to the public, until capacity is exhausted, is a contribution from Governor Jairo Aguilar Deluque and the Government Secretariat for constructive reflection, where elements and recommendations will be delivered for the actions of the authorities, in the face of blockades.

The provision of a trust pact towards the institutions will also be considered, with all sectors, through dialogue, to avoid de facto routes.
