The Punta Alta Police reported that the well-known criminal Juan Martín Domenichetti, 45, was stabbed to death in his home in the Los Álamos neighborhood and that this morning they arrested two suspects of committing the crime.
According to reports from the local police station, Domenichetti’s homicide occurred on Saturday night, when a subject entered his house at 1300 Entre Ríos Street around 10 p.m., and after knocking on the door, attacked him with a knife. .

One was caught near the access to Villa del Mar (about 5 kilometers from the center of Punta del Este) when they were waiting to get on a bus on Line 319 that would take them to Bahía Blanca, where he has his home. The other had been arrested in Humberto at 700.
Cruz and Forchino reportedly argued with the victim over drugs before stabbing him.
Domenichetti had an important record for armed crimes and in cases involving the sale of narcotics with repeated stints in prison.
His father, Juan Domingo “Mingo” Domenichetti, also had various legal cases and died in 2002, also at the age of 45, when he had been released benefiting from the two-for-one law and accidentally shot himself while handling a sawed-off shotgun.
