Continuing with the inspection, surveillance and control work of food consumption establishments, the Ministry of Health carried out operations in all restaurants, cafes, coffee shops and ice cream parlors located inside the Parque Arboleda shopping center.

In total, the Risk Factors for Food and Beverage Consumption team visited 42 establishments, of which 41 obtained a favorable opinion, and only one was left with requirements, that is, it failed to comply with some points in its practices, documentation or location. to obtain favorability.

“The result of this day leaves us very satisfied, because we see that to the extent that there is more control, monitoring and accompaniment to these establishments, the better the health conditions for food handling, the lower the risk to the health of consumers and greater profitability and confidence for merchants. In short, it is a chain that benefits us all, so the invitation is to continue doing things well, according to the norm,” said Andrea Jara, coordinator of the Environmental area.

Finally, the official pointed out that as indicated by Mayor Mauricio Salazar, health controls have been intensified and they are being very rigorous when it comes to taking care of the health of Pereira residents.
